Follow these simple steps to register your project:

1. Attend the MN GreenStar Project Registration Workshop

2. Determine Project Type: Remodel Type or New Home

Remodel Project Types
Type 1: Renovations that do not add conditioned space
Type 2: Renovations that add conditioned space without changing exterior shell of building
Type 3: Renovations that change exterior shell of building but use only existing foundation
Type 4: Renovations that add a foundation

3. Download and Complete Applicable Registration Application

4. Determine Registration Fee (Non-refundable)

Remodel
Remodeling Certification Type 1 = $100 + $0.10 per square foot
Remodeling Certification Type 2 = $100 + $0.10 per square foot
Remodeling Certification Type 3 = $150 + $0.10 per square foot
Remodeling Certification Type 4 = $200 + $0.10 per square foot

New Homes
New Homes Certification = $200 + $0.10 per square foot
